A set of six mixed marble 'individual' ashtrays.  This stunning set of unique, hand cut marble ashtrays were made by the best known luxury retailer of smoking accessories; Dunhill.  Alfred Dunhill took over his father's saddlery business in London, Henry's, and turned it into one of the finest destinations for accessories for the modern gentleman.   Initially developing a unique line of motoring accessories, as this form of transport rapidly developed, he later went on to make pipes, lighters and anything else the modern gentleman traveller would need. 

This is a very unusual set, found in their original leather fitted Dunhill box.  The idea behind these, smaller, individual ashtrays are that when guests would come over, everyone could have their own ashtray for where ever they decided to smoke throughout the bar or house.  There are a variety of beautiful colours and striations in each tray.  There is a small bowl, and groove cut rest cut into each piece.  The set dates circa 1980's and is unused original condition, complete with the original box.
